Dates & Deadlines

To Apply:

1. Please review our Admissions and Enrollment Policy, Age Requirements and the list of required documentations for registration below.
2. Complete the online application by clicking here.
3. Submit the following:
   • Record Release Authorization Form (students entering Grades 1 - 8)
   • Copies of academic records, behavioral records, standardized test scores
   • If applicable, any Child Study Team Evaluations, Individualized Education Plans (IEP) or Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
   • Note: There is no cost to apply.
4. Early application ends on January 31, 2026; decision letters will be issued in mid-February. 
5. Once accepted, students must officially register by March 20, 2026 and submit a non-refundable $500 Tuition Deposit to confirm their spot.
6. After our early application phase, admission is rolling until enrollment is full.
7. Applicants who do not receive a confirmed spot will be placed on the waitlist. There is no charge to waitlist a child.

Admissions and Enrollment Policy

Holy Cross Academy is a ministry of Holy Cross Parish. The mission of HCA is to provide a quality education in the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the tradition of the Catholic Church. HCA accepts students from any background or faith tradition with objectivity and fairness; however, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding admissions and enrollment that best reflect our mission. As such, HCA prioritizes acceptance in the following order:

1. Currently enrolled students
2. Siblings of current K - 8 students
3. Children related to HCA alumni who graduated Grade 8 at HCA
4. Holy Cross Parishioners
5. Catholics
6. Non-Catholics 

Holy Cross Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, national or ethnic origin in the administration of our educational policies, admission policies, athletic or other school administered programs. All students have the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to all students formally accepted into the school.  Non-Catholic students are expected to participate in and respectfully attend all religious functions of the school.

Age Requirements

• Students entering Preschool must be 3 or 4 years of age, respectively, by October 31 of the school year and must be fully potty trained. 
• Students entering Pre-Kindergarten must be 4 or 5 years of age, respectively, by October 31 of the school year and must be fully potty trained.
• Students entering Kindergarten must be five years of age by October 31 of the school year.  
• Students entering Grades 1-8 must fulfill the age requirement for the desired grade. Grade level and academic group determinations are made on the basis of school records.

Required Registration Documents

Once a child has been accepted, the following is needed to complete their registration and enrollment:

• Copy of Official Birth Certificate
• Up to Date Immunization Record (Required Immunization Information)
• Physical Examination Form for students 5+ years required by August 15 prior to the start of the school year
• Dental Examination Form required by August 15, prior to the start of the school year
• Catholic students in K - 8 must also submit:
  • Copy of baptismal certificate
  • First Communion certificate or First Communion Date, Church Name and Address for students entering Grades 3 - 8
    *Or Communion date, Church Name and Address at a minimum 
  • Pastor Verification Form
