Summer Information

General Information

• All camps are run by faculty members and the school nurse will be on site.
• All camps run Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:30pm. 
• Camps are $400 per week.
• All children must be bathroom independent (no diapers or pull ups).
• Bring a water bottle along with a nut-free snack and lunch.
• Come to camp wearing sunscreen and tennis shoes.
• One registration form per child - you can register this child for multiple camps on a single form.
  
  

June 8 - 11

• The World of Eric Carle with Mrs. Bateman
  Campers will read different Eric Carle stories and make coordinating projects.

• Calling All Foodies! with Mrs. McDaniel
  Campers will prepare their own lunch! We will prepare pancakes, hamburgers, pizza and taco sticks. Of course, we need to be healthy so we will also prepare salad, veggie sticks and fruit salad. On the last day, we will have our own homemade ice cream!

• “Land Down Under” with Mrs. Pfeffer
  We will explore the Great Barrier Reef by learning about the largest collection of coral reefs and the many different species of fish. We will then move onto the dryland and learn about Koalas and Kangaroos and make many fun projects representing the animals that live in Australia.

  Campers will be exploring under the sea with Nemo and Dory with DIY underwater scopes, creating coral reefs, making shark tooth necklaces and ocean art.

  Campers will mix and pour, and watch what bubbles, fizzes, and more! We build, we spin, we test, we try. And see what floats or sinks nearby.

• Ocean Imagination Station- Mixed Media Art with Mrs. Ward
  Campers will explore surfing, sand, and creatures that live in the ocean. Campers will create art projects related to all things ocean! We will be using a wide array of art supplies: watercolors, acrylic paint, paint sticks, oil pastels, paint markers, markers, colored pencils, clay and more!

• Shark Tales with Mrs. McDaniel
  There are many varieties of sharks. Campers will learn about 4 of them. Why are they so scary? Do they really want to bite us? How big are they?

• Healthy Heroes with Mrs. Pappa
  This camp will teach campers how to have a healthy mind, body and spirit. Each day will feature a different superhero and health theme. What kind of balanced meals does Superman eat? How does the Hulk  get so strong? How does Black Widow have such a powerful mind? These questions and more will be explored as campers learn about healthy habits that they can incorporate in their own lives.

  We will build a nest and a feeder and spot the birds in red, green, blue. We chirp, we giggle, we stretch, we play, and learn about birds along the way.

  Travel back in time to the days of cowboys and outlaws. Campers will learn about the history of the American West, participate in rodeo-themed activities and dress up in western attire.

• Little Sculptors Art Camp with Mrs. Ward
  We will learn about sculpting for fun and creating unique art projects. Campers will create sculptures of their choice based on their individual interests. Campers will be making their own play-doh! They can choose the colors for their play-doh and take it home. We will be using a wide array of art suppliers including air dry model magic, play-doh, clay, sculpting tools and more!

  Campers will observe artwork from the masters of art (Van Gogh, Matisse, Monet, Picasso, Warhol, Haring, Kahlo, O’Keeffe, etc.) and create mini masterpieces of their own in their unique style. We will be using mixed media art supplies including watercolors, paint sticks, oil pastels, chalks, paint markers, canvases, watercolor paper, cardboard and more!
