This is my first year teaching at Holy Cross Academy and I feel so blessed to have joined such an amazing school! My previous teaching experience was with the NYC Department of Education where I taught in both general education and ICT classes. I earned my Master’s Degree in Childhood Education from St. John’s University and I also have certification in teaching Children with Disabilities.
As an educator, I believe every child learns differently and develops at a different pace. It is important to know every student well, which means knowing what type of learner they are and caring for their social and emotional needs. I believe in creating a safe, warm and engaging
learning environment where children are never afraid to ask questions and know that mistakes are proof of trying! I want to build my students confidence and develop their love for learning.
It is so wonderful to be working in a Catholic school where students not only grow academically but also in their faith. I look forward to being a part of such a wonderful community here at Holy Cross!
